Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) travel position requiring a FL or compact RN license and experience in pediatric critical care.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU within a hospital setting
- Care for critically ill pediatric and cardiac ICU patients
- 12-hour night shifts
- 13-week assignment duration
- Rotating or per request weekend shifts
- Floating required as needed or by unit rotation
- No call responsibilities
- Travelers must have a permanent address at least 75 miles from the facility
- Returning travelers must have been away from the facility for at least one year before eligibility
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive care for pediatric ICU patients
- Adherence to required hospital protocols and infection control standards
- Must be able to work night shifts and rotating weekends as assigned
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Prior experience in pediatric intensive care or pediatric cardiac ICU strongly preferred
