Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring Epic charting experience and current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with 10 beds
• Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00
• Patient ratios are 1:2 in the ICU
• Required to float to units of equal or lesser acuity
• Epic is used for charting and experience is required
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of time off (RTO) will be auto-approved and none allowed during the first week of orientation
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered for this assignment
• Modules are completed onsite during orientation and are recorded via transcripts

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Epic charting experience required
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility or in specified counties
