Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with Epic charting proficiency and travel experience for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 22-bed Emergency Department setting
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:00)
• Patient population includes all ages with varied emergency cases
• Epic EMR is used and Epic experience is required
• Modules to be completed onsite during orientation and recorded via transcripts
• Must not be submitted as part of a travel pair or group
• No more than three days of requested time off will be approved, and none allowed during first week of orientation
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Professional attire in alignment with hospital policy is required
• Team-based environment with support during orientation

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years recent ER experience required
• Documented travel nursing experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Epic charting experience required
• Cannot have lived or worked in listed counties or within 50 miles of facility
• Former permanent staff must have at least 1 year separation before returning as a traveler
