Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with travel experience, Epic charting, and advanced certifications for a night shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Emergency Room setting with 11 beds
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Patient ratio averages 4-6 per RN
• Charting is completed using Epic EMR, experience required
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Completion of modules during onsite orientation is required
• Maximum of 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved; no time off permitted during the first week of orientation
• No travel pairs or groups are accepted
• Professional attire or scrubs per department policy

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years recent ED experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience is required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Epic charting experience is required
• Candidates residing within 50 miles or in specified counties are ineligible
• Former perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning as traveler
