Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of recent ER experience and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (ER) of a hospital setting
• Shift is three 12-hour day shifts (10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.), with potential rotation to 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. as needed
• Every other weekend is required
• Patient ratios are 1:2-3
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling may be accommodated
• Meditech EMR experience is preferred
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Locals are accepted
• No restrictions on requested time off
• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, CPI
• Pending licensure is not accepted
