Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a valid NM or Compact RN license and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Day shifts, 5x8 hours (6:30–15:00)
• Floating to similar units may be required based on facility needs
• Call is required during nights and weekends
• No scrub experience is required
• Epic charting experience is preferred
• Completion of onsite orientation and required modules is mandatory
• Modules are typically completed during orientation and recorded via transcripts
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered for this role
• First-time travelers may be considered per position details
• Maximum of 3 days RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required at consideration
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent OR RN experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Previous travel experience is preferred
• Former permanent staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Locals within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
