Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN with at least 1-2 years of recent experience and a valid NM or compact RN license for a day shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the PACU of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts (8:00 to 20:30)
• On-call required for 6-8 shifts within a 6-week period
• Floating to similar units may be required
• EMR is Epic; experience preferred but not required
• Modules completed onsite during orientation
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least one year before eligibility
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible
• No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Brief orientation provided for floating units
• Holiday coverage may be required

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent PACU RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
