Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN with at least 1-2 years of recent experience and a valid NM or compact RN license for a day shift contract.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the PACU of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts (8:00 to 20:30)
- On-call required for 6-8 shifts within a 6-week period
- Floating to similar units may be required
- EMR is Epic; experience preferred but not required
- Modules completed onsite during orientation
- No travel pairs or groups will be considered
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least one year before eligibility
- Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible
- No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Brief orientation provided for floating units
- Holiday coverage may be required
Requirements
- Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent PACU RN experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
