Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience, Epic proficiency, and required certifications to cover weekend day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care setting performing plain films, fluoroscopy, and surgical radiography
• Patient population includes neonate, infant, and geriatric cases
• Experience with enema studies and surgery/C-Arm procedures
• Utilizes PACS, GE, Philips, and Siemens equipment
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Schedule is Friday through Sunday, 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM with day (3x12) shifts
• Floating to surgery may be required as needed
• Rotating on-call responsibilities
• Holiday coverage required
• May be assigned to assist with surgical imaging procedures
• Hunter green scrubs are required
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Any permanent employee of the facility must be separated for at least 1 year to qualify as a traveler
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off will be considered
• A 75-mile radius rule applies to determine traveler status
• Pre-start online modules must be completed and typically require 2-4 hours

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of radiology technician experience
• ARRT, LSRT (or temporary LSRT), and BLS certifications required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Experience in neonate, infant, and geriatric imaging required
• Proficiency in enema studies and surgery/C-Arm procedures required
• License required if applicable
• Valid Louisiana license required at time of consideration
• Driver’s license or ID required for verification
