Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with at least two years of acute care and cath lab experience for a weekday position with on-call requirements.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Performs emergency and elective angioplasty, drug-eluting stent procedures, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation
• Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Position requires living at least 100 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license with no pending status
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• BSN highly desired
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification mandated by position
• At least two years of recent acute care and cath lab experience in a US hospital required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Must provide two manager or supervisor references verifying most recent experience from the previous twelve months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• US Social Security Number required for consideration

• Responsible for meeting the needs of patients and families through specialized interventions and therapies in the cath lab
• Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• AHA certification copies must be provided

• No local candidates considered within a 100-mile radius
