Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and NMTCB certification for an acute care assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in an acute care setting on a dedicated nuclear medicine unit
Perform radionuclide procedures, exercise, and pharmacological nuclear stress tests
Typical schedule is 5 day shifts, 8 hours each with a 1 hour lunch
Uses Allscripts EMR system
Prepare patients for nuclear imaging testing and ensure proper documentation
Responsible for completing forms and entering required information into the computer system
Day shift schedule
No orientation hours provided

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience required
Current BLS (AHA) and Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB required
Current NYS license and NMTCB registry required
Experience with Allscripts EMR preferred
License required if applicable
