Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in an Acute Respiratory unit, requiring a GA or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Acute Respiratory ICU within a hospital setting
• Adult critical care patient population with a focus on acute respiratory cases
• 12-hour night shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• Strict policies on requested time off: maximum 5 days if not near holidays, maximum 3 days if near a holiday
• Only one holiday off request is allowed per assignment
• Returning travelers must comply with separation requirements
• Travelers are not allowed to submit for multiple positions at once

Requirements

• Active Georgia or compact state RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of recent ICU experience required
• Former staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year and 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no locals allowed)
