Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical unit night shift position requiring telemetry experience and Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in a medical/surgical hospital unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient population may include those requiring telemetry monitoring
• May be required to float within skill set onsite or to facilities within 40 miles
• Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Must keep nails short and refrain from artificial or acrylic nails
• May float to other units or nearby sites as needed based on skill set
• Dress code adherence required
• All positions have a radius rule for local candidates, with local rates applying if within the designated distance
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage is expected
• No COVID vaccination requirement

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent med/surg experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Telemetry experience required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Nursys and license verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address
