Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a compact or KS RN license and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 19-bed Emergency Department within an acute care setting
• Expanded department with two major trauma rooms, 13 private treatment rooms, four Fast-Track units, updated imaging suite, and two private triage rooms
• Night shifts with 12-hour shift length
• Start times for shifts may be 7am, 11am, 3pm, or 7pm
• Use of Cerner EMR system
• May occasionally be required to work as charge RN
• Serve a diverse patient population in a newly expanded Emergency Department
• Updated work environment with larger lobby, new ED personnel space, and ambulance garage entrance
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
• Experience using Cerner EMR is preferred
