Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent related experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes adults requiring medical-surgical care with telemetry monitoring
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Care for adult patients with a range of acute medical and surgical needs requiring telemetry
• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
• Copies of certifications and nursing license verification required for onboarding

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• At least one year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• At least one professional reference required; two for candidates from Florida or Missouri
