Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with circulating experience and MediTech proficiency for a day shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Caring for all patient populations across surgical cases including GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, General, and Vascular procedures
• Day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts
• Requires 1 twenty-four hour weekend call shift per month
• Requires 3 to 4 on-call shifts per month, with one being a 24-hour weekend shift
• Utilizes MediTech EMR; prior experience is required
• Responsibilities include collaborating with surgical teams and providing perioperative care
• Maintain professional standards of nursing and provide support to patients and families
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is permitted
• Two supervisory reference forms from the last two years are required for consideration

Requirements

• Active Arkansas or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
• Must be able to circulate in GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, General, and Vascular cases
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience providing care for all patient populations
• MediTech EMR experience is required
• Candidates must live more than 90 miles from Batesville to be considered
