Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience and current ARRT registration.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology department within a mid-large facility
• Perform a range of procedures including angiograms, AV fistulograms, port placements, PICC lines, HD catheters, kyphoplasty, biopsies (U/S and CT), drainages, lumbar punctures, myelograms, steroid injections, IVC filter placement/removal, and Baker cyst aspirations
• 40 hours per week (4x10 hour day shifts), with schedule flexibility except every Wednesday is required
• Department is staffed Monday through Friday
• No on-call requirements
• Patient population and equipment details are typical for a comprehensive IR setting
• Must be comfortable performing a broad range of special procedures independently
• Team environment with flexible scheduling and support
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate
• A 50-mile radius rule applies for travel pay eligibility

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in interventional radiology in a mid-to-large facility
• Experience with both scrubbing and circulating roles required
• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• Must be able to function independently
• Travel experience required
