Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist with recent GE MRI experience, ARRT certification, and BLS for night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Performs both routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients of all ages
• Night shift schedules include 6pm-2:30am and 3:30pm-12am, Monday through Friday, with required weekend coverage
• Weekend shift times are 6am, 7:30am, and 10:30am
• Assists radiologist with MR procedures as requested
• Operates and maintains GE MRI equipment per manufacturer and department protocols
• On-call requirements to be determined
• Responsible for performing MRI studies and administering contrast media according to department protocols
• Must adhere to MRI safety standards and established quality control procedures
• Operates hospital computer system for imaging documentation
• Up to 5 days of requested time off are permitted
• Professional, respectful communication with patients and staff is expected at all times

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience operating GE MRI equipment
• Current ARRT certification required (AMRIT not accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
