Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) day shift position requiring a ME or compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
13-week contract assignment
Requires flexibility to work every other weekend as needed
Fifty (50) mile radius rule applies to all travelers
Telemetry experience preferred
Patient care is provided under supervision of the Unit Director and Charge Nurse
May be called off or have up to three shifts canceled per 13-week assignment due to census or staffing changes
Travelers may not exceed two consecutive 13-week assignments per calendar year and must wait at least 26 weeks before returning for another assignment
Holiday coverage required for Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
Commitment to the facility's mission and values of compassion, integrity, collaboration, and excellence is expected

Requirements

Active ME or compact state RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum of 3 years RN experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task required
Must demonstrate teamwork abilities
