Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery - LDRP position requiring a FL or compact RN license and two years of LDRP experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 24-bed Family Birth Suite in a hospital setting with Level 2 OB-Maternal and Level 1 Nursery
- Labor patient ratios of 1-2:1 and postpartum ratios of 3-4:1
- Uses Epic EMR; experience required
- 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm with required on-call duties
- Floating required, travelers are first to float including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes
- Orientation includes remote and onsite components, starting on a Friday
- Will provide care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum including nursery care
- Expected to fully integrate as a core staff member
- No block scheduling requests allowed
- All requested time off must be declared prior to submission; none will be accepted after hire
- Must be able to float as needed to other sister units
- Scrub attire details to be provided during onboarding
- Must be available for remote orientation and in-person badge/ID processing on the orientation start date
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license
- Minimum two years of recent LDRP experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Degree must be from an accredited nursing program or have five years of RN experience if degree accreditation cannot be verified
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility address and cannot own or co-sign property within that radius
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- Must provide two professional references, work history, and proof of required certifications for consideration
