Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring strong telemetry and neuro skills at a hospital in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes both medical-surgical and neurological cases requiring telemetry monitoring
• Shift is 12-hour nights, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, three shifts per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday are required
• Floating to similar units may be required
• Uses Meditech EMR and proficiency is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Duties include providing patient care, monitoring telemetry, and supporting neuro and med/surg patient populations
• Holiday coverage follows every other holiday rotation
• Local candidates are accepted at a lower pay rate
• First day orientation includes a telemetry skills assessment

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from ARC or AHA required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Strong telemetry and neuro experience required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Must pass a telemetry test on the first day of orientation
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for travel pay eligibility
