Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Hematology-Oncology position requiring a GA or compact RN license and minimum 2 years specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work on the 10A Hematology-Oncology service unit in a hospital setting
- Care for oncology, step-down, and heavy sickle cell patients
- Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Chemo certification is preferred but not required
- Provide nursing care for oncology, step-down, and sickle cell patients
- Chemo certification is preferred for administering chemotherapy treatments
- Must be able to provide a badge-appropriate photo upon request
- No requested time off (RTO) is permitted during contract
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Hem/Onc experience in a similar size setting
- Current certification card required
- Up-to-date resume including work history with no gaps greater than 60 days
- Skills checklist relevant to specialty
- Two references from supervisors or managers with recent, relevant experience
- Nursys license verification required
