Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for a Surgery/Operating Room position in Missouri, requiring BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the Surgery/Operating Room department
Monday through Friday, 07:00–15:30 shifts
On-call requirement: 12–15 shifts per month, including weekday evenings and 24-hour weekend coverage when scheduled
Patient cases include orthopedic, general, and cardiovascular surgeries
Primary responsibilities include circulating in a variety of surgical cases and supporting the OR team
Must be able to take call as scheduled, including nights and weekends
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
Scrub attire follows standard surgical dress code requirements

Requirements

Active MO or compact RN license required
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
Minimum 1 year of recent operating room circulator experience required
Completion of workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP or equivalent)
