Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least one year of recent experience for a day shift position in an occupational therapy department.

Responsibilities

• Work in an occupational therapy department providing rehabilitative care
• Day shift position with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week travel contract
• No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Duties include assessment and development of therapeutic plans for patients requiring occupational therapy
• Role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary rehab team

Requirements

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in occupational therapy
• At least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Two professional references required if licensed in Florida or Missouri; one reference required for other states
• US Social Security Number (no Canadian SSNs) and date of birth required for consideration
