Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent ICU experience.
Details
- Position is in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU/SICU) of a hospital setting
- Care is provided to critically ill cardiac and surgical patients
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment duration
- Floating to other similar units may be required
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience required
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA or ARC required
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- No gaps in recent work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Must submit required documents including US Social Security Number and date of birth
- References as required per state (notably, two for Florida and Missouri, one for all other states)
- No local candidates; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- Primary responsibilities include caring for critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Team-oriented ICU environment with support from multidisciplinary staff
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Holiday coverage may be required as part of the rotating schedule
- Dress code and scrub requirements will be communicated prior to starting
