Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent ICU experience.

Details

• Position is in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU/SICU) of a hospital setting
• Care is provided to critically ill cardiac and surgical patients
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Floating to other similar units may be required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience required
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA or ARC required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No gaps in recent work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must submit required documents including US Social Security Number and date of birth
• References as required per state (notably, two for Florida and Missouri, one for all other states)
• No local candidates; must live more than 50 miles from the facility

• Primary responsibilities include caring for critically ill patients in the ICU setting
• Team-oriented ICU environment with support from multidisciplinary staff

• Holiday coverage may be required as part of the rotating schedule
