Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a day shift contract position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgery department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Responsibilities include perioperative nursing care for surgical patients
• Must provide at least one recent professional reference
• Scrub color requirements will be communicated prior to assignment start
• All documentation and certifications must be up to date and not set to expire within the first 30 days of assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• At least one year of recent OR nursing experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Not open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius
