Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a TX or compact RN license for day shifts in a hospital surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital environment
• Operating Room position with a schedule of 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for surgical patients in a fast-paced perioperative setting
• Responsible for providing perioperative care to surgical patients
• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Orientation and training provided at the start of assignment
• Scrub attire must comply with unit specifications

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Operating Room RN experience
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference required as per state guidelines
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
