Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of acute inpatient experience and BLS certification for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute inpatient setting
• Monday through Friday day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts
• Uses Cerner EMR, transitioning to Epic
• 13-week contract assignment
• Returning employees must have been separated for at least 6 months and require hospital approval
• Local candidates within 80 miles are considered local and are eligible at a reduced bill rate
• Orientation includes 8 hours prior to assignment start
• Requires strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to electronic medical record transitions

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist license required by start date; license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient physical therapy experience required
• Active BLS certification required
• Two professional references required: one from a supervisor within the past 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years
