Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehab with at least 1 year of experience and required NM state OT license (pending accepted).

Responsibilities

  • Inpatient rehabilitation unit setting
  • Day shift, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 17:00
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Travelers may be expected to float to similar rehab units within their scope as needed
  • Electronic Medical Record system is Epic; experience is preferred
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Modules required for onboarding are completed onsite during orientation
  • Must not have been a permanent staff member at the facility within the past year
  • Groups or travel pairs are not accepted for this position
  • No local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted
  • No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

  • Active NM Occupational Therapist license or eligible pending license (license required if applicable)
  • Current BLS certification
  • NBCOT certification
  • Minimum 1 year of OT experience in a rehab or inpatient setting
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
