Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehab with at least 1 year of experience and required NM state OT license (pending accepted).

Responsibilities

Inpatient rehabilitation unit setting
Day shift, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 17:00
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Travelers may be expected to float to similar rehab units within their scope as needed
Electronic Medical Record system is Epic; experience is preferred
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Modules required for onboarding are completed onsite during orientation
Must not have been a permanent staff member at the facility within the past year
Groups or travel pairs are not accepted for this position
No local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted
No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

Active NM Occupational Therapist license or eligible pending license (license required if applicable)
Current BLS certification
NBCOT certification
Minimum 1 year of OT experience in a rehab or inpatient setting
Epic EMR experience preferred
