Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a NJ or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
• Day shifts, 4x8 hour schedule from 7:00 to 15:30
• Patient population and caseload are specific to interventional radiology procedures
• Use of EPIC charting system is preferred
• No travel pairs or groups are accepted for this position
• Modules are completed onsite during orientation and transcripts are recorded
• Weekly orientation is held on Mondays with specified exclusion dates
• No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) are approved, and no RTO is allowed the first week of orientation
• Candidates living within 50 miles are not eligible
• First time travelers are eligible for consideration

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Graduation from an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required, preferably 3 years
• Previous experience in a cardiovascular setting preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Former permanent staff must have at least 1 year away before returning as a traveler
