Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and a valid KY license for a day shift opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a hospital nuclear medicine department
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, five days per week
• Call rotation required every fourth week, beginning Monday afternoon and ending the following Monday at 6:00 AM
• Equipment includes GE, Philips, and Siemens systems
• Travelers may be asked to float to different units as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• Return staff must wait 2 years before reapplying for a travel position
• Candidate is required to schedule lab tests within 2 days of signing and complete appointments within 2 weeks
• Modules are assigned during orientation and annually, averaging 2 hours
• EPIC EMR system may be in use; requirements may vary by allied specialty

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Current Kentucky state license required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with GE, Philips, and Siemens nuclear medicine equipment
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Candidate must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler
