Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in PET/CT and general nuclear medicine for a weekday assignment with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine department
Perform PET/CT and general nuclear medicine procedures, primarily on oncology patients
Daily caseload includes approximately 33 PET/CT scans with whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine imaging
Utilize 2 PET/CT scanners and PACS system
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 9:30 AM
Optional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks
Required to work one evening shift and one Saturday per month
Federal holidays off
Responsibilities include performing imaging studies for oncology and other patient populations, including whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine scans
Scrubs are not provided; grey scrubs preferred
Supportive team environment for both experienced and first-time travelers
Holiday work is not required
Fingerprinting for Ohio state compliance must be completed promptly after contract signing
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Requested time off must be included during initial contract consideration

Requirements

Experience in PET/CT and general nuclear medicine required
Proficiency in IV starts and using PACS
Current BLS, ARRT or NMTCB certification, and state license required if applicable
Inpatient and outpatient clinical experience required
Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor
Former employees are eligible after a 6-month break, current employees are not eligible
