Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Virginia, requiring a current VA or compact RN license and 1-2 years of MS/Tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Surgical Combination unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes both med/surg and telemetry cases
• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Responsible for providing comprehensive care to both medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Must complete holiday coverage and meet unit scheduling needs
• No RQI certifications accepted

Requirements

• Active RN license valid in VA or a compact state
• 1-2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg Tele
• Current, non-RQI BLS certification required
• COVID vaccination card required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Cannot have been a permanent staff member at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Must not reside within 60 miles of the facility
• Cannot hold another full-time employment concurrently
