Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an acute inpatient rehab position requiring a PA or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute inpatient rehab unit
• Patient ratio is 1:6
• Blood glucose monitoring and care and management of ports required
• No call or floating required
• Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every other weekend required
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• First time travelers are accepted
• All requested time off must be provided at submission; no RTO accepted after submission
• Local candidates within 50 miles will be considered at a different rate
• No specific block scheduling is available

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license in hand
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient rehab experience required
• Experience with blood glucose monitoring and port care required
• Charge experience preferred
• Professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years required
