Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab or EP Technologist with at least 2 years of specialty experience and a completed travel assignment for a Level I Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital with Level I Trauma Center designation
• Position is for the Cath Lab and involves cardiac and electrophysiology procedures
• 4x10 hour day shifts, starting at 7:00 AM, schedule may vary based on needs
• On-call required on some days and weekend coverage as needed
• Block scheduling is not available
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred
• Must be willing to work at least 2 of 3 major holidays if assignment includes Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years; if only 2, must work at least 1 holiday
• RTO (requested time off) must be included at time of submission and late requests will not be approved
• Former employees or internal travelers must be separated for at least one year before eligibility to return
• First-time travelers are not accepted; prior travel experience is required
• Scrub attire requirements are as per department policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab or EP experience; 3+ years preferred
• At least 1 completed previous travel assignment is required
• Current and active state or compact license required; no pending licenses accepted (license required if applicable)
• Driver’s license must be provided for consideration
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must meet all NLC guidelines where applicable
• Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility; local applicants will not be considered
