Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel assignment requiring 2+ years of recent cath lab experience and an active KY or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting
- Typical schedule is 7am to 7pm or 7am to 5pm
- Travel assignment duration is 13 weeks
- No local travelers permitted per 50-mile radius rule
- Duties include providing nursing care to cardiac patients undergoing diagnostics and interventions in the cath lab
- Onsite CPI training will be available as needed
- Candidates must comply with dress code and infection control requirements
- US citizens only; Canadian SSN not accepted
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license with no disciplinary history
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Current AHA certifications including BLS and ACLS that do not expire during assignment
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required; proof of completion must be provided
- CPI certification required; may be completed onsite
- All candidates must be fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID
- Candidates must provide a US Social Security Number
- Gaps in work history of 3 months or more require an explanation
