Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a KY or compact RN license and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab setting
12-hour day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm
On-call duties are required
Position is a 13-week travel contract
Provide nursing care for cardiac catheterization procedures and related interventions
Explanation required for gaps in work history of 3 months or more
Testing or training modules may be expected during orientation
No first-time travelers are specified as eligible

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
AHA certifications only (BLS and ACLS) must be active and not expire during the contract
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training required; may be completed onsite
No HITS or disciplinary actions on nursing license
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and seasonal flu
Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
