Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position in a Level 3 unit, requiring 2 years of recent experience and NJ or compact RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in a Level 3 Labor and Delivery unit with 19 beds
• Night shift schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• Scrubs are provided
• Will not accept former permanent employees of this facility
• Modules are completed during orientation and typically take 4 hours
• Time off requests must be submitted up front and are limited to 5-7 days during contract, as approved
• Local candidates living within 50 miles will receive a reduced pay rate
• Not accepting travel pairs for this assignment

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate; Advanced AWHONN or C-EFM accepted (C-EFM may be obtained prior to start date)
• IV Certification status must be disclosed prior to consideration
