Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift Med/Surg RN with at least 2 years of experience and a current KY or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Medical Surgical unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Med/Surg patient population in a combination unit
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsible for typical Med/Surg RN duties including patient assessment, medication administration, and care coordination
• Team-oriented work environment with support staff available
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Nursys license verification must be active at time of consideration
• No references required for consideration

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)
• Must provide COVID vaccination card
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility in the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the facility
