Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of specialty experience for an outpatient imaging setting on a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an outpatient imaging department
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Patient population includes those requiring diagnostic and screening mammography
• Uses Epic EMR with training provided during orientation or via testing
• KRONOS system is used for timekeeping
• Blocked scheduling is not allowed
• A minimum of two major holidays will be required to be worked during the assignment
• A 13-week break is required for returning travelers after completing a contract
• Requested time off must be disclosed at the time of application and cannot be added to the end of the contract
• Orientation provided with the option to test out of Epic EMR training

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography required
• Current and active credentials as required and license if applicable
• Certifications must be from the American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred but not required
• No local candidates within 60 miles accepted
