Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Massachusetts requiring a MA RN license and at least 18 months of ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (ER) setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Possible float to another campus as needed
• Must be flexible to start up to four hours before or after scheduled shift for department needs
• Uses Epic EMR, experience strongly preferred
• Provide emergency nursing care in a busy ER environment
• Holiday and weekend shifts are required as part of the schedule
• Epic charting system is used in the department
• First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum 18 months of ER experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
• Must pass an EKG test
• Two references required, one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• No prior disciplinary actions on nursing license
• Candidates must reside at least 200 miles from the facility for consideration
