Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Neuro unit with night shifts and stroke/AMS patient care.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Medical Surgical Neuro unit
- Care for both stroke/AMS and standard medical patients
- Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- Occasional floating to other Level 3 units
- No call requirements
- Required to work one holiday per contract
- Uses Cerner charting system
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Serve both stroke/AMS and standard medical patients in a fast-paced environment
- Team may occasionally float to other units depending on staffing needs
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg or Neuro nursing experience
- BLS and NIHSS certifications required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- First-time travelers accepted
