Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT MR and BLS certification for a weekend contract supporting multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Work in an MRI department within a hospital setting
• Schedule is weekends: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, and Monday 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
• Call rotation is required and shared with 3–4 other technologists
• Agency staff may be required to float to other MRI-qualified units or campuses as needed
• Uses Omnicell for medication management and EPIC for documentation
• Scrub color is hunter green
• MRI technologists only float to units for which competencies and qualifications are documented
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Holiday and weekend coverage is part of the regular schedule

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent MRI technologist experience required
• ARRT MR and BLS certifications required
• At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Must provide two references for consideration
• License required if applicable
