Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring at least 2 years of specialized cath lab experience and active FL or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital’s Interventional Radiology and Hybrid Cath Lab unit
• Patient population includes diagnostic cardiac cath, PCI, peripheral vascular, pacemaker (PPM) implants, and interventional radiology procedures
• Equipment used includes Impella, IABP, EKOS, CSI, Jetstream, Laser, and Shockwave devices
• Uses Cerner charting system and prior experience with Cerner is required
• Day shifts (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call shifts are required as part of the schedule
• No floating required within the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Royal blue scrubs are required for this assignment
• Parking is included at no cost
• Block scheduling and RTO may be discussed during the interview but are not guaranteed
• Experience in handling cases such as PCI, PPM, and complex vascular interventions is necessary

Requirements

• Active Florida or compact state RN license required at the time of application
• At least 2 years of recent experience in diagnostic/interventional cardiac cath lab, special procedures, and interventional radiology settings
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS
• Experience with Interventional Radiology and On-Call for cath lab procedures required
• Competency with specialized equipment such as Impella, IABP, and other interventional devices required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Local candidates and applicants with pending licenses are not eligible
