Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in a Medicine Unit, requiring a MD or compact RN license and at least two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Medicine Unit focusing on medical-surgical patients
Rotating 12-hour shifts (7A/7P), including every other weekend
Holiday coverage required as needed by the unit
Assignment is 13 weeks in length
No on-call responsibility
Uses Epic EMR
Responsible for providing comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care
Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate
Holiday shifts are required according to unit scheduling
Strong candidates are preferred due to high standards of care in this unit

Requirements

Active MD or compact RN license
Minimum two years of recent med/surg experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience with Epic EMR required
Experience in a facility with at least 500 beds required
