Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for home health assignments in Morris County requiring NJ licensure and recent home health experience.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting serving patients throughout Morris County
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with no weekend shifts
• Candidates may be required to float to a nearby sister hospital as needed
• Patient documentation is completed using Epic; prior Epic experience is preferred
• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing and implementing plans of care, providing interventions, performing patient and family education, and appropriate documentation and billing
• May support clinical competency development, orient new staff, and serve as a clinical instructor for students
• Assigned at the main orientation location in Morristown, NJ
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Assignment limited to one calendar year; a break of 30-60 days is required before returning
• Blue scrubs are required

Requirements

• Active New Jersey PT license required if applicable
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Home health experience required
• English language proficiency required
• Board certification as a specialist and experience in acute care are preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
