Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Emergency Services position in Alabama, requiring at least 2 years of recent ER experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Emergency Room (ER) of a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes emergency and acute care cases
  • Day shift schedule from 7:00am to 7:00pm
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • A 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility
  • Candidates must clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
  • Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on hospital needs
  • Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate
  • No current employment in a permanent position with the client is permitted during the assignment

Requirements

  • Active AL or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
  • No certification may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
  • Must not be currently employed in a permanent role with the client
