Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring Cath and EP experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab with 5 beds
• Procedures performed include cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR)
• Uses Cath Lab equipment and supplies
• Documentation is managed using Meditech EMR
• Scheduled shifts are from 7:00AM to 5:30PM
• On-call participation is required
• No floating to other units required
• Unit is supported by secretaries and tech staff
• Perform cardiac catheterizations, assist with EP and IR procedures
• Light blue scrubs are required
• Strict policies regarding patient experience standards
• Holiday coverage may be required as part of the on-call schedule

Requirements

• Active FL or compact state RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab and EP experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• At least 1 year of recent specialty experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Two professional references required for Florida candidates
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
