Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level III Neonatal ICU position requiring a GA or compact RN license and NICU expertise.

Responsibilities

Work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Special Care Nursery)
Care for neonates with medical and/or surgical issues, including infants born at the hospital and select transfers
Utilizes ReCam ophthalmic imaging system, cardiac monitors, and warmer beds and isolettes
Day shift schedule: 7:00am to 7:30pm, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
No on-call responsibilities
Provide specialized care to premature and ill newborns in a high-acuity setting
Must request time off up front; no additional requests post-offer
Perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligible
Hospital-issued scrubs are required per unit guidelines

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of experience in neonatal or NICU specialty
Current BLS and NRP certifications required
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
