Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification for a high-acuity cardiac and electrophysiology environment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab
• Performs a wide range of procedures including diagnostic, PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rota, impella, IABP, CTO), structural heart cases (TAVR, balloon valvuloplasty, Watchman), and electrophysiology studies (EPS, Afib/Flutter ablations, BIV and pacemaker implants)
• Adult cardiac and electrophysiology patient population
• Uses EPIC for electronic medical records and EPIC experience is required
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call coverage required
• Floating to other facilities within the state may be required
• Local travelers residing within 50 miles are not eligible
• Responsibilities include performing complex interventional cardiac, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures
• Rhythm interpretation skills strongly preferred
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities as needed
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Requested time off (RTO) must be declared before employment confirmation

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification required
• Washington State RT or CIS license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year recent Cath Lab experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of recent specialty-specific employment required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• COVID and Flu vaccination documentation may be required
