Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU night shift position in California requiring cardiac ICU experience and pediatric certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU) within a hospital setting
• Care for pediatric patients with cardiac and critical care needs
• Night shift, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Floating required to PICU and NICU units as needed
• Uses EPIC for documentation
• First-time travelers accepted if experienced in CTICU
• Pre-approved time off is at the discretion of the manager and must be requested up front
• No on-call required
• Scrub or dress code information not specified

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required prior to consideration
• Minimum 2 years of CTICU or CVPICU RN experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Experience with pediatric cardiac ICU patients required
